The compilation of Jainological Researches abroad have been done by me through personal contacts at National and International Conferences, correspondence, e-mailing and phoning. This has incurred a good amount of expenses. But funding of Dr. Shah has led us to accomplish our effort.
It is observed that the foreign Jainological research is limited to 12 subjects only in comparision to 34 in India. The table below gives the subjectwise numeration of researches in India and abroad in 12 subjects :

The table clearly shows that the twelve subjects of foreign research form roughly 80% of Indian research. It is also clear that there is wider variety of subjects in Indian Jainological researches. The foreign research, thus, requires a wider perspective on this front.
Dr. K.C. Jain has been blessed by many monks in this effort and he has received support from all corners of Jain scholars in India. He has offered his thanks to all his promoters and supporters in his introduction which need not be repeated.
