b) His Various Works Subhacandra is a voluminous writer who has handled manifold subjects in his wide range of works. In his Pāndavapurāna* (completed in Sam, 1608, i.e., 1551 ), he has given a list of his works composed before 1551 A. D. Then his works on rituals are as below: 1 Trissac-caturvimsatipūjā, 2 Siddhārcanam, 3 Sarasvatipūjā, 4 Cintāmaņi-pūjā, 5 Karma-dahana-vidhāna, 6 Ganadhara-valaya-vidhāna, 7 Palyopoma-vidhāna, 8 Căritra-śuddhi-vidhāna, 9 Catustrirsadadhika-dvādaśasata-vratodyāpana, 10 Sarvatobhadra-vidhāna. Then the following are the commentaries: Pārsvanātha-kavya-pañjikā-tikā, Ašādhara-pājā-vșttiḥ, 3 Svarūpa-sambodhana yrttiḥ, 4 Adhyātma-padya-ţikā. Then there are some polemic and philosophical works: 1 Samsaya-vadanavidārana, 2 Apaśabda-khandana, 3 Tattva-nirņaya, 4 Sadvāda. Then there is the 1 Angapannatti, a work in Prākrit giving the traditional survey of Jaina literature; 2 a Prākrit grammar called Sabda-cintamani; and some 3 Stotras: these may be put under a miscellaneous group. His literary activities continued even after 1551 A, D., as noted below.
