સઃ સ્વયં વિગત-બન્ધ-ભયા ભવન્તિ ૪રો Coc 5C 5 5 5c 5c 5 :
हे बन्धनों से छुड़ाने वाले निष्कारण बन्धु ! पैर से लेकर गले तक तथा सभी अंग जंजीर से युक्त क्यों न हों, जंघाएँ भी बड़ी बड़ी बेड़ियों के बन्धन से छिल गई क्यों न हों! ऐसी दशा पाये हुए मनुष्य मात्र तेरे नाम के मन्त्र का निरन्तर स्मरण करने से शीघ्र ही बन्धनों के भय से दूर हो जाते हैं ।
હે વિભુ ! પગથી માંડીને ગળા સુધી મોટી મોટી સાંકળો વડે વીંટળાયેલા તથા મોટી બેડીઓની અણીથી ઘસાયેલ જાંઘોવાળા મનુષ્યો પણ તારા નામનો અહર્નિશ મંત્રજાપ કરતાં આપોઆપ જ બન્ધનોના ભયથી મુક્ત થાય છે.
Oh Lord Adideva ! Your Bhakta is handcuffed and tied by chains. These chains are not just one or two; but they are covering the whole body from top to toe. Even the thighs are scratched due to friction.
In spite of this, the Bhakta feels happy and gay. Somebody feels that he chants other mantra. But I know that he recites Your name only-Adideva, Rishabhadeva... Arihanta... Tirthankara... Uninterrupted and unabated mantras go on and on... To a great surprise, the bondages fall away. Bhakta says that the chains have tied me, but I am free because of my God's dignity.
Oh my Lord ! You have freed several Bhaktas from such iron chains. Your hymns have cut off the bondages automatically. Lord, kindly save me also from the bondages of attachment, emotion and love, agony ecstasy and intoxication. Lot of people, including great monks also, are bound by such afflictions. God, grant me the due freedom. Please take care of me so that I am not trapped. I am a free bird of the sky of salvation.
