Kalpãnta-kãla-pavanoddhata-vahni-kalpam davanalam jvalita-mujjvala-mutsphulingam | Viúvam jighatsumiva sammukha-mãpatantam tvan-nama-kirtana-jalam samayatya-Sesam ||36||
કલ્પાન્ત-કાલ-પવનોદ્ધત-વહ્નિ-કલ્પ
वान वलित-भुवन-भुत्स्फुतिम् । વિશ્વ જિઘસુમિવ સમ્મુખ-માપતન્ત
વન્નામ-કીર્તન-જલ શમયત્ય-શેષમ્ ॥ ६॥ GBSESSII39
हे अनल शामक आदिदेव ! प्रलयकाल के वायु से प्रेरित अग्नि समान और प्रज्वलित तथा उज्ज्वल एवं बहुत उपर तक उछलनेवाली चिनगारीवाला, मानों कि सकल विश्व को भी खाक कर देने के लिए उत्कण्ठित हो, ऐसा सामने आता हुआ दावानल भी सिर्फ आपके नाम-कीर्तन रूप जल से उपशान्त हो जाता है।
હે ભગવત્ત ! તમારું નામ-કીર્તન રૂપી જળ તો પ્રલયકાળના પવનથી ઉદ્ધત થયેલ અગ્નિ સદ્ગશ, બળતી ઊંચી જતી જ્વાલાઓવાળાં અને ઊંચે ઉડતા તણખાવાળા (ચિનગારીવાળા), જાણે સમસ્ત વિશ્વને ખાઇ જવા ઇચ્છતા હોય તેવા તથા સામે આવતા દાવાનલને પણ શાન્ત કરી દે છે.
Oh my Lord ! the wild fire is a fire advancing in leaps and bounds, emitting glittering sparkles in all directions. The fire is as stupendous as the one at the end on an eon, narrated in scriptures.
I see that the furious flames are spreading to engulf your Bhakta too. He prays to You; he remembers You as Adideva; and to a great surprise, the wildest of the fire extinguishes. God! What a cooling, soothing and watery effect of Your name! The fire is cooled down. God ! I know that the Glory of Your name will save me from such a fire, I desire so, but I earnestly pray to please relieve me of firey thoughts, jealousy and envy. extinguish the evil fire burning in my mind. I am not going to give up chanting your pious name till then.
