समझी-समझायी जा सकती नहीं है । थोड़े समय पूर्व ही विज्ञान ने इलैक्ट्रॉन व फोटॉन का आविष्कार किया । जबकि जैनदर्शन ने प्राथमिक कण के रूप में कार्मण वर्गणा के कण बताये हैं । कार्मण वर्गणा की विभावना जैनदर्शन की अनुपम भेंट है क्योंकि केवल यही कण आत्मा के साथ संयोजित हो सकते हैं । जैन विज्ञान ही एक ऐसा विज्ञान है जो प्राकृतिक भौतिक घटनाओं के साथ-साथ आधिभौतिक (Super natural) घटना, सजीव व निर्जीव के संयोजन, चैतन्य और भौतिक विज्ञान को समझा सकता है ।
भारतीय संस्कृति के प्राचीनतम प्रवाह स्वरूप जैन दर्शन के प्राचीन ग्रंथों में बहुत से वैज्ञानिक सिद्धांत पाये जाते हैं | आधुनिक युग में नयी पीढी के आगे आधुनिक गणित व वैज्ञानिक साधन द्वारा इन सिद्धांतों का प्रतिपादन करना काफी जरूरी है।
(The notion that all scientific models and the theories are approximate and that their verbal interpretations always suffer from the inaccuracy of our language was already commonly accepted by scientists at the beginning of this century, when a new and completely unexpected development took place. The study of the world of atoms forced physicists to realize that our common language is not only inaccurate, but totally inadequate to describe the atomic and subatomic reality.
