श्रमण केशीकुमार के प्रश्न,
गौतम स्वामी का समाधान केशीकुमार श्रमण के विभिन्न प्रश्नों का उत्तर देते हुये गणधर गौतम ने बताया(१) मैं कषायों की अग्नि को श्रुत-शील और तप के जल से शान्त कर लेता हूँ। (२) मनरूपी दुष्ट अश्व को ज्ञान की लगाम से वश में कर लेता हूँ। (३) जरा-मरणरूपी जल-प्रवाह में धर्म ही एक द्वीप है। (४) शरीररूपी नौका से संसार-समुद्र को महर्षि जन तैर जाते हैं। (५) गहन अंधकार में ज्ञानरूपी भास्कर (भगवान महावीर) उदित हो चुका है।
