[3.] गौतम! पंचप्रदेशी स्कन्ध, (१) अपने आदेश से आत्मा है, (२) पर के आदेश से नो-आत्मा है, (३) तदुभय के आदेश से अवक्तव्य है । (४-१५) एक देश के आदेश से और सद्भाव-पर्याय की अपेक्षा से तथा एक देश के आदेश से और असद्भाव - पर्याय की अपेक्षा से कथंचित् आत्मा है, कथंचित् नो - आत्मा है। इसी प्रकार द्विकसंयोगी सभी (बारह) भंग बनते हैं। (१६-२२) त्रिकसंयोगी आठ भंग होते हैं, उनमें से एक आठवाँ भंग नहीं बनता ।
31-2. [Q.] What is the reason for this (a penta-sectional aggregate is perhaps existent) and other aforesaid questions?
[Ans.] Gautam ! A penta-sectional aggregate (panchapradeshi skandh) (1) is existent in context of its own form (as tetra-sectional aggregate); (2) is non-existent in context of other form; (3) is inexpressible in context of both forms; (4-15) with reference to one of its sections in existent mode and with reference to one of its sections in non-existent mode and so on; there are twelve alternatives for combinations of two. (16-22) seven alternatives out of eight possible combinations of three, eighth being not possible.
३२. छप्पएसियस्स सव्वे पडंति ।
[३२] षट्प्रदेशी स्कन्ध के ये सभी भंग बनते हैं ।
32. All the aforesaid possible alternatives ( 23 ) are applicable to hexasectional aggregate (shatpradeshi skandh).
३३. जहा छप्पएसिए एवं जाव अनंतपएसिए ।
सेवं भंते! सेवं भंते! त्ति जाव विहरइ ।
॥ बारसमे सए : दसमो उद्देसओ समत्तो ॥
॥ बारसमं सयं समत्तं ॥ १२ ॥
[३३] जैसे षट्प्रदेशी स्कन्ध के ( विषय में भंग कहे हैं), उसी प्रकार यावत् अनन्त प्रदेशी ( स्कन्ध तक कहना चाहिए। )
हे भगवन् ! यह इसी प्रकार है, हे भगवन् ! यह इसी प्रकार है, ऐसा कहकर गौतम स्वामी यावत् विचरते हैं।
33. What has been stated about hexa-sectional aggregate should be repeated for infinite-sectional aggregate (anant-pradeshi skandh).
