855555555555555555555555)))))))))))))) के (३) योग-आत्मा-मन, वचन और काया के व्यापार को योग कहते हैं। इन्हीं तीनों योगों से है भयुक्त आत्मा योगात्मा कहलाती है। आयोगी केवली और सिद्धों के अतिरिक्त सभी सयोगी जीवों के यह म आत्मा होती है। .
(४) उपयोग-आत्मा-ज्ञान-दर्शन रूप उपयोग-प्रधान आत्मा ही उपयोगात्मा कहलाती है। यह सिद्ध और संसारी सभी जीवों के होती है।
(५) ज्ञान-आत्मा-विशेष अवबोध रूप सम्यग्ज्ञान से विशिष्ट आत्मा को ज्ञानात्मा कहते हैं। ज्ञानात्मा सम्यग्दृष्टि जीवों के होती है।
(६) दर्शन-आत्मा-सामान्य-अवबोध रूप दर्शन से विशिष्ट आत्मा को दर्शनात्मा कहते है। 卐 दर्शनात्मा सभी जीवों के होती है। ॐ (७) चारित्र-आत्मा-चारित्र विशिष्ट गुण से युक्त आत्मा को चारित्रात्मा कहते हैं, चारित्रात्मा
विरति वाले साधु-श्रावकों के होती है। म (८) वीर्य-आत्मा-उत्थानादि रूप कारणों से युक्त सकरण वीर्य विशिष्ट आत्मा को वीर्यात्मा
कहते हैं। जो सभी संसारी जीवों के होती है। सिद्धों में सकरण वीर्य न होने से उनमें वीर्यात्मा नहीं 卐 मानी जाती है।
Elaboration-Description of soul-that which is ever active in cognition is called atma or soul. In other words that which has ever active urge to know is called soul. Though it is a common attribute of all souls, based on some special inclinations soul has been divided into eight types
(1) Dravya-atma-The immortal entity endowed with sentience and ever active faculty of cognition that exists in various modes, including divine and human, is called Dravya-atma (soul entity). It is present in every living
being.

(2) Kashaaya-atma–The soul that is encumbered with four passions (kashaaya), namely anger, conceit, deceit and greed; and six no-kashaayas 41 (sub-passions) including laughter is called Kashaaya-atma (passion-soul).
Other than souls with pacified and destroyed passion (upashaant kashaaya and ksheen kashaaya) this is present in every living being.
(3) Yoga-atma-Association with activities of mind, speech and body is called yoga. The soul associated with these three activities is called Yogaatma (associated-soul). Other than Ayogi Kevali (dissociated omniscient) and Siddha (Perfected Soul) this is present in every living being.
