सत्रहवें उद्देशक का सारांश
THE SUMMARY OF THE SEVENTEENTH CHAPTER सूत्र 1-2 कुतूहल से त्रस प्राणी को बाँधना, खोलना। सूत्र 3-14 कुतूहल से मालाएँ, कड़े, आभूषण और वस्त्रादि बनाना, रखना और पहनना। सूत्र 15-68 साध्वी, साधु का शरीरपरिकर्म गृहस्थ द्वारा करवावे। सूत्र 69-122 साधु, साध्वी का शरीरपरिकर्म गृहस्थ द्वारा करवावे। सूत्र 123-124 सदृश निर्ग्रन्थ निर्ग्रन्थी को स्थान नहीं देना। सूत्र 125-127 अधिक ऊँचे नीचे स्थान में से या बड़े कोठे में से आहार लेना अथवा लेप आदि से बंद
बर्तन खुलवाकर आहार लेना। सूत्र 128-131 सचित्त पृथ्वी आदि पर रखा हुआ आहार लेना। सूत्र 132 पंखे आदि से ठंडा करके दिया गया आहार लेना। सूत्र 133 तत्काल बना हुआ अचित्त शीतल जल (धोवन) लेना। सूत्र 134 अपने आचार्यपद योग्य शारीरिक लक्षण कहना। सूत्र 135 गाना, बजाना, हँसना, नृत्य करना, नाटक करना, हाथी, घोड़े, सिंह आदि जानवरों के जैसे
आवाज करना। सूत्र 136-139 वितत, तत, घन और झुसिर वाद्यों की ध्वनि सुनने जाना। सूत्र 140-155 अन्य अनेक स्थलों के शब्द सुनने के लिए जाना। शब्दों में आसक्ति रखना इत्यादि
प्रवृत्तियाँ करने पर लघुचौमासी प्रायश्चित्त आता है। Sutra 1-2 To tie and untie the moveable being curiously. Sutra 3-14 To-make, keep and wear garlands bracelets, ornaments curiously. Sutra 15-68 To get the monk's body or body of nun massaged from the
householders by the householder. Sutra 69-122 To get the nuns body massaged from the householders by the efforts
of a monk. Sutra 123-124 Not to provide staying site to the monk and nun of similar religious
group. Sutra 125-127 To accept food from a high location or big store house or getting the
lid opened of a paste smeared pot. Sutra 128-131 To accept food kept on living earth etc. Sutra 132 To accept food cooled by fan. Sutra 133 To accept water made immediately a non-living washed water. Sutra 134 To define his own qualities worthy of the preceptor. Sutra 135 To sing, laugh, play, dance, musical instruments act, and to produce
the sound of an elephant horse, lion like animals. Sutra 136-139 To listen the sound of the Vitat, tat, Ghana, Jhusir musical instruments.
