निम्नोक्त कार्य करने वाला साधु-साध्वी गुरु चौमासिक प्रायश्चित्त का अधिकारी होता है
एक साधु द्वारा अपने साथ सोने का पात्र रखने और दूसरे साधु द्वारा रखने वाले की अनुमोदना करने से 'निषिद्ध पात्र ग्रहण धारण' का दोष लगता है।

साधु द्वारा तांत्रिक- खोपड़ी परिव्राजक आदि के तप की प्रशंसा करना 'अंधर्म प्रशंसा' का दोष कहलाता है।
साधु द्वारा आगम रूपी श्रुतज्ञान ( वास्तविक ज्ञान) की निंदा करके (विज्ञान) की प्रशंसा करना' धर्म की निन्दा' करने का दोष कहलाता है।

साधु का दो परस्पर विरोधी देशों आदि में बार-बार गमनागमन करना 'विरुद्ध राज्य गमनागमन' दोष कहलाता है।
साधु द्वारा आचार नियमों के अनुरूप प्रतिलेखना को निरर्थक कहना' धर्म की कहलाता है।

साधु द्वारा फाँसी लगाकर मरने वाले व्यक्ति को बहादुर कहकर उसकी प्रशंसा करना 'बाल-मरण प्रशंसा' दोष कहलाता है।

A monk wanders repeatedly in two such countries which are inimical to each other, he then commits the fault of moving in prohibited kingdom.
