________________ The Second Yogasthāna clxliii V. avavada-The following four kinds of avavādas have been enumerated and a detailed-description of their nature has been provided : (a) aviparītāvavāda, (b) anupūrvāvavāda, (c) agamāvavāda, and (d) adhigamāvavāda. Further an avavada comprehending all these aspects (sarvākāraparipūrṇa) has also been noticed and described as elucidating the teachings of the Buddha through the following three pratihāryas. (i) ṛdahi prātihārya (concentration), (ii) adeśana-(teachings), and (iii) anusāsti-(instructions). VI. sikṣa-A detailed description of the nature and importance of the three fold sikṣās, t (i) the adhisila, (ii) the adhicitta and (iii) the adhiprajña śikṣā essential for the acquisition of samadhi and thereby of parinirvana has also been given. VII. The three pudgalas: The three pudgalas who realise the satyas-have been described as attaining the stages of (i) sroia apanna, (ii) sakṛdāgāmin and (iii) anāgāmin. These are i) avitarāga, (ii) bhūyo-vitaraga and (iii) vītarāga.
