Chapter 79
PEACE SETTLEMENTS
Patching up of the great hatred Is sure to leave some hatred behind. How can this be regarded as satisfactory? Therefore the Sage holds for the left tally, And does not put the guilt on the other party. Virtuous man is for patching up, The vicious is for fixing guilt. But the way of Heaven is impartial, It sides only with the good man.

सुलह-समझौता
भारी वँर में सुलह के बाद भी थोड़ा वँर शेष रह जाता है, इसे संतोषजनक कैसे कहा जा सकता हूँ? इसलिए समझौते में संत अपने को दुर्बल पक्ष मानते हैं,
दूसरे पक्ष पर कसूर नहीं मढ़ते ।
पुण्यवान आदमी समझौते के पक्ष में होता है,
पापी कसूर मढ़ने के पक्ष में।
लेकिन स्वर्ग का ढंग निष्पक्ष हैं, वह केवल सज्जन का साथ देता हैं।
