Chapter 29
WARNING AGAINST INTERFERENCE
There are those who will conquer the world, And make of it (what they conceive or desire). I see that they will not succeed. (For) the world is God's own vessel It cannot be made (by human interference). He who makes it, spoils it. He who holds it, loses it. For: Some things go forward, some things follow behind; Some blow hot, and some blow cold; Some are strong, and some are weak Some may break and some may fall. Hence the Sage eschews excess, eschews extravagance, eschews pride.

हस्तक्षेप से आवाधान
वैसे लोग भी हैं, जो संसार को जीत लेंगे, और उसे अपने मन के अनुरूप बनाना चाहेंगे। लेकिन मैं देवता हूं कि वे सफल नहीं होंगे। संसार परमात्मा का गढ़ा हुआ पात्र है, इसफिर समानवाय हस्तक्षेप के द्वारा नहीं गढ़ा जा सकता। जो ऐसा करता है, वह उसे बिगाड़ देता है। और जो उसे पकड़ना चाहता है, वह उसे खो देता हूँ। क्योंकि कुछ चीजें आगे जाती है, कुछ चीजें पीछे-पीछे चलती है। एक ही क्रिया से विपरीत परिणाम आते है, जैसे फूंकने से गरम हो जाती हैं चीजें, और फूंकने से ही ठंडी। कोई बलवान है, और कोई दुर्बल, कोई दूढ सकता है, तो कोई गिर सकता है। इसलिए, संत अति से दूर रहता है, अपव्यय से बचता है, और अळंकार से भी।
