Gives the list of trees whose fruits contain small germs. The fruits of all these trees are of the type of figs. 14. जिणवरु संखइ = sk. जिनवरः संख्याति 15. अत्थाणइ = sk. अस्थाने at an improper place. 16. विकलत्रय-अलंकृतः (T.): born as द्वीन्द्रिय, त्रिन्द्रिय चतुरिन्द्रिय. ( the three types of त्रसजीवs.) [K. 18.] 1-2. Some of the bulbous roots and vegetables the consumption of which entails the saint, are enumerated. विल्लिय-green vegetables cf. वेली; मूलउ-G. मूळा. णालि-a kind of vegetable perhaps the stalk of some vegetable. तुंबउ-cf. G. तुंबडुं. बिसुlotus-stalk. लहसुणु-garlic. अल्लउ सूरणु-wet सूरण (G.) अद्दउ-G. आदु ginger. पिंडालुय मसणु ( = sk. मसूण) soft पिंडालु. अल्लउ = sk. आईकम्. 5. द्विदलान्न mixed with sour butter-milk. 6. संजोइय-तस-germs born from the mixture of two things. 8. दोदिणवासिउ-stale for two days. 9. The cooked food spoilt in its taste 10. The cereals which are even fit and pure when sprouted. Read सुद्धइ in place of मुद्धइ. II. Read जणइ for जलइ in the text. 16. जीवसमुच्छणत्थु उप्पायइ-Which gives rise to any thing leading to produce germ-life.
