देवतामूर्ति-प्रकरणम् नग्न स्वरूप वाला और घंटड़ियों के आभूषण वाला क्षेत्रापाल बनाना । उसके दाहिने दो हाथों में कतरनी और डमरु तथा बाँयें दो हाथों में त्रिशूल और कपाल (खोपड़ी) है। मुंडमाला की जनेऊ वाला, छोटा हाथ बड़ा पेट और सर्पकी गाँठयुक्त जटा वाला करना।
Kshctrapala should be depicted without any clothes but adorned with bells. He possesses a karttika (scissors - term also used for knife) and the damroo drum in his two right hands (62), . and a trident (shula) and a skull (kapal) in his left. His sacred Upavitum is composed of skulls. He has small hands, a large stomach and snakes are entwined in the hair of his topknot.
१. 'मातृ देवियों में प्रथम ब्राह्मी देवीअथात: संप्रवक्ष्यामि मातृरूपाणि ते जय। तत्र ब्राह्मी चतुर्वक्त्रा षड्भुजा हंससंस्थिता ॥६४॥ : पिङ्गली भूषणोपेता मृगचर्मोत्तरीयका। वरं सूत्रं कजं धते दक्षबाहुनये क्रमात् ॥६५॥ वामेषु पुस्तकं कुण्डी बिभ्रती चाभयप्रदा।
. इति ब्राह्मी ॥ विश्वकर्मा कहते हैं कि हे जय ! अब मातृ देवियों का स्वरूप कहता हूँ। उसमें ब्राह्मी देवी चार मुख वाली, छ: भुजा वाली, हंस की सवारी करने वाली, पीले आभूषण पहनने वाली और मृग चर्म के उत्तरासन वाली है। उसकी दाहिनी तीन भुजाओं में पुस्तक, कुंडी और अभय है।
