________________ देवतामूर्ति-प्रकरणम् अक्षमाला, अभय, कमल और कमण्डलु को धारण करने वाली गौरी देवी की मूर्ति बनाना, वह महादेव का शासन करने वाली हैं। Goddess Gauri holds a rosary, one hand in the Abhay mode, a lotus and a kamandalu. This is how her statue should be made. She enforces the law of Siva (Siva-shaasani). (5). ४. ललिता देवी अक्षसूत्रं च वीणे द्वे कमण्डलुः करेषु च । ललिता च तदा नाम सिद्धचारणसेविता ॥ ६ ॥ अक्षमाला, दो हाथ में वीणा और कमण्डलु को धारण करने वाली ललिता नाम की देवी है, वह सिद्ध और चारणों से पूजनीय हैं। 235 The goddess named Lalita is depicted holding a string of prayer-beads, the Veena musical instrument, and a kamandalu in her four hands. She is revered by the Siddhas and Charans *** (6). ५. श्रिया देवी गोधासनाक्षसूत्राब्ज- मभयं वरदं करम् । श्रिया मूर्त्तिस्तदा नाम गृहे पूज्या श्रिये सदा ॥ ७ ॥ गोह की सवारी करने वाली, अक्षमाला, कमल, अभय और वरदमुद्रा को धारण करने वाली श्रिया देवी की मूर्ति है, वह घर में पूजने से हमेशा लक्ष्मी देने वाली है। Seated on a godha with a rosary and a lotus in two hands, and two hands in the Abhay and Varad positions respectively, the *** Siddhas = A Siddha is a semi-divine being with eight supernatural faculties called siddhis; or a sage or prophet; or a pious accomplished human who has attained the siddhis. Charans The term Charan is a used for a group of semi-divine heavenly musicians in the scriptures. It is also the name of a bardic community who have been long revered, particularly in Rajasthan from the medieval period onwards. Literally, the term means, variously, either a pilgrim; or a bard; or a heavenly singer; or a reader of the scriptures.
