लग्नज्यधनुराकाराऽर्धचन्द्रा चैव सा भवेत् । यस्रा त्रिकोणा विज्ञेया सा शक्त्या सदृशा भवेत् ॥ १४८॥ .
लगी हुई डोरी युक्त धनुष के जैसी आकार वाली अर्द्धचंद्रा नाम की.. पीठ है। तीन दोना वाली और शक्तिसदृश त्रिकोणा नाम की पीठ है।
The shape of the peethika Ardha-Chandra is like a bow with its bowstring drawn. Trikona can be recognised as a three-cornered peethika, endowed with power, worthy and good .. in appearance. (148).
दश प्रकार की पीठिका का फल
स्थण्डिला पीठिका यत्र धनधान्यार्थदायिनी। . . महिषीगोप्रदा वापी यक्षी सर्वार्थदायिनी ॥ १४९ ॥ मण्डला कीर्तिबहुला पूर्णचन्द्रा तु शान्तिदा। वज्रा शत्रुविनाशाय पद्मा सौभाग्यदायिनी ॥ अर्द्धचन्द्रा सुखाय स्यात् त्रिकोणा शत्रुनाशिनी ॥ १५० ॥
स्थंडिला पीठ धन धान्य देने वाली, वापी गाय भैंस देने वाली. यक्षी सब इच्छित फल देने वाली, मंडला बहुत यश देने वाली, पूर्णचन्द्रा शान्ति दायक, वज्रा शत्रु का विनाश करने वाली, पद्मा सौभाग्य देने वाली, अर्द्धचन्द्रा सुखदायक और त्रिकोणा शत्रु का नाश करने वाली है।
The resulting benefits of these different types of peethikas or bases are as follows :
Sthandila grants wealth, grain and plenty, Vapi grants . cattle – both cows and buffaloes, and Yakshi bestows every desired blessing. (149).
