प्रश्न ६९-क इविहा णं भंते ! आसीविसा पण्णत्ता ?
Q. 69. Bhante ! How many types of poisonous beings are there ?

__उत्तर ६९-गोयमा ! दुविहा आसीविसा पण्णत्ता तं जहा-जाइआसीविसा य कम्मआसीविसा य ।
A. 69. Gautama ! There are two types of poisonous beings, viz., those by species/nature (jati) and those by kārma.
प्रश्न ७०-जाइआसीविसा णं भंते ! कइविहा पण्णत्ता ?
Q. 70. Bhante ! How many types of poisonous beings by species/nature are there ?
उत्तर ७०–गोयमा! चउब्विहा पण्णत्ता तं जहा–विच्छ्यजाइआसीविसे मंडुक्कजाइआसीविसे उरगजाइआसीविसे मणुस्सजाइआसीविसे ।
A. 70. Gautama ! Four types, viz., scorpion type, frog type, reptile type and human type.
प्रश्न ७१–विच्छ्यजाइआसीविसस्स णं भंते ! केवइए विसए पण्णत्ते ?
Q. 71. Bhante ! What is the extent of the capacity to poison of the scorpion type ?
उत्तर ७१-गोयमा ! पभू णं विच्छयजाइआसीविसे अद्धभरहप्पमाणमेत्तं बोंदि विसेणं विसपरिगयं विसट्टमाणं पकरेत्तए । विसए से विसठ्ठयाए णो चेव ण संपत्तीए करेंसु वा करेति वा करिस्संति वा।
