प्रश्न १९-कइ णं भंते ! समुग्घाया पण्णता ?
उत्तर १९-गोयमा! सत्त समग्घाया पण्णत्ता तं जहा-वेदणासमुग्घाए एवं समुग्धायपदं छाउमत्थियसमुग्घायवज्ज भाणियव्वं जाव...वेमाणियाणं कसायसमुग्घाया अप्पाबहयं ।
भावियप्पणो केवलीसमुग्घाए जाव...
प्रश्न २०-अणगारस्स णं भंते ! जासयमणागय चिठ्ठति ?
उत्तर २०-समुग्घायपदं णेयव्वं ।

A. 19. Gautama ! Samudghātas have been stated to be Seven, which are, vedand-samudghāta, etc , on which refer to section on 'Samudghāta' (in the Pannavand Sutra). (They are all) to be stated except the chadmastha-samudghāta,... till the Vaimānikas. (Something), more or less, needs be added on kusāya-samudghata.
Q. 20. Bhante ! Does kevali-samudghāta of high-souled monks...till lasts for an ever-extending future ?
A. 20. Refer to section on 'Samudghāta'.
