The colour of the clothing most favourable for spiritual concentration is white, the next best is yellow. Black or dark blue should, if possible, be avoided. The best stuff is cotton, next flannel, and lastly silk, which is a non-conductor of unfavourable electricity, but its use involves the destruction of silk worms and it is not wise therefore to use it.
A comfortable posture should be taken, any comfortable position of the body, so that there is no consciousness of the position in which you are sitting.
Face north or east, as these are positive directions, and concentration is a positive activity.
