Finally, the process of fusion can be classified from various aspects as under :
Fusion is two-fold: (a) natural, and (b) produced by an organism.
It is two-fold from another point of view viz, (a) partial union, and (b) total union.
There are three causes for natural union :
(a) Union caused by the gluey and dry properties of the constituents - bandha pratya yika.
(b) Union caused by the contents of a common container – bhājana pratya yika.
(c) Union caused by mutation - parināma-pratya yika!
