खणमेत्तसोक्खा बहुकालदुक्खा
पकामदुक्खा अनिकाम सोक्खा । संसारमोक्खस्स विपक्खभूया
खाणी अणत्थाण उ कामभोगा ।।
Sensuous pleasures give temporary happiness but bring unhappiness for a long time; they give more unhappiness than happiness. They are great hindrances to emancipation and they are really a mine of misfortunes.
कामभोग क्षण मात्र सुख और चिरकाल दुःख देनेवाले हैं, बहुत दुःख और कम सुख देनेवाले हैं. कामभोग संसारमुक्ति के शत्रु हैं और अनर्थों की खान हैं ।
કામભોગો ક્ષણ માત્ર સુખ આપનારા અને બહુકાળ દુ:ખ આપનારા છે, ઘણું દુ:ખ અને થોડું સુખ આપનારા છે. કામભોગો સંસારમુક્તિના શત્રુરૂપ છે અને અનર્થોની पाए। छे.
