तेणे जहा संघिमुहे गहीए ___सकम्मुणा कच्चइ पावकारी । एवं पया ! पेच्च इहं च लोए
कडाण कम्माण न मोक्खु अस्थि ।। When a thief is caught while breaking into a house, he is punished for the sin committed. Similarly, all living beings have to bear the fruits of their Karmas, either in this life or in the next life. No one can escape from the results of the Karmas done.
जैसे सेंध लगाते हुए पकड़ा गया चोर अपने कर्म के फल भोगता है उसी प्रकार जीव को अपने कर्मों का फल इस लोक और परलोक में भोगना पडता है । किए हुए कर्मों का फल भोगे बिना छुटकारा नहीं होता।
ખાતર પાડવાનું પાપકર્મ કરનાર ચોર જેમ પકડાઈ જાય છે અને પોતાનાં કર્મનાં ફળ ભોગવે છે, તેમ પાપ કરનાર જીવ આ લોકમાં કે પરલોકમાં તેનું ફળ ભોગવે છે. કરેલાં કર્મનાં ફળ ભોગવ્યા વિના છુટકારો નથી.
