would prevail confusion in respect of pramāņa, jīva, āsrva, samvara
etc. Thus Bhāsarvajña comes to the conclusion that ātman is absolutely eternal, and it cannot be accepted as both eternal and non-eternal on the basis of anekānta which cannot be logically maintained.
