दन्त-केश-नखा-स्थिऽत्वग्-रोम्णो ग्रहणमाकरे । त्रसाङ्गस्य वणिज्यार्थ दन्तवाणिज्यमुच्यते ॥१०६।। लाक्षा-मनःशिला-नीली-धातकी-टंकणादिनः । विक्रयः पापसदनं लाक्षावाणिज्यमुच्यते ॥१०७।। नवनीत-वसा-क्षौद्र मद्यप्रभृतिविक्रयः । द्विपाच्चतुष्पाद् विक्रयो वाणिज्यं रसकेशयोः ।।१०८।। विषा-स्त्र-हल-यन्त्रा-ऽयो-हरितालादिवस्तुनः । विक्रयो जीवितघ्नस्य विषवाणिज्यमुच्यते ॥१०॥ तिलेक्षु-सर्षपैरण्ड - जलयन्त्रादिपीडनम् । दलतैलस्य च कृतिर्यन्त्रपीडा प्रकीत्तिता ॥११०॥ नासावेधोकनमुष्कच्छेदनं पृष्ठगालनम् । कर्णकंबलविच्छेदो निलांछनमुदीरितम् ॥१११॥ सारिका-शुक-मार्जार-श्व-कुक्कुटकलापिनाम् । पोषो दास्याश्च वित्तार्थमसतीपोषणं विदुः ॥११२॥ व्यसनात् पुण्यबुद्वया वा दवदानं भवेद् द्विधा ।
सरःशोषः सरः-सिन्धुलदादेरम्बुसंप्लवः ॥११३॥ Meaning : Angara Karma (coal trade) applies to these trades : (1) Preparing the charcoal; (2) roasting of gram, pulse etc; (3) potter's trade; (4) blacksmith's trade; (5) gold-smith's trade; (6) trade dealing in vessels of brass, copper etc.; and (7) preparing the bricks etc.
That is called Vanajivika in which one depends on income through leaves, flowers, and fruits etc. of the trees cut or fallen in the forest as also through grinding and milling of grains.
To get the carts or any parts of it such as the wheel etc. made, and sell them to earn livelihood is called the Shakatajivika.
