This sums up how any one can win over the kashayas. विनेन्द्रियजयं नैव कषायान् जेतुमीश्वरः। हन्यते हैमनं जाड्यं न विना ज्वलिवानलम् ॥२४॥ Meaning : Just as one needs a burning fire against the icy cold of winter, human beings need to control the senses in order to keep away the kashayas. प्रदान्तरिन्द्रियहये -- श्चलेरपथगामिभिः । प्राकृष्य नरकारण्ये जन्तुः सपदि नीयते ॥२५।। इन्द्रियविजितो जन्तुः कषायरभिभूयते । . वीरैः कृष्टेष्ट कः पूर्व वप्रः कैः कैर्न खण्ड्यते ॥२६।। कुलघाताय पाताय बन्धाय च वधाय च । अनिजितानि जायन्ते करणानि शरीरिणाम् ॥२७॥ Mtaning : Unbridled senses, like wild horses, would certainly drive human beings to the forest of hell. One who is driven by senses would certainly be overcome by kashayas. It is very easy to destroy entire wall of a fort once breach is made by pulling out a brick. Uncontrolled senses lead to destruction of the family, loss of kingdom, imprisonment, and execution. वशास्पर्शसुखास्वाद - प्रसारितकरः करी। पालानबन्धनक्लेश -मासादयति तत्क्षणात ॥२८॥ पयस्यगाधे विचरन गिलन गलगतामिषम् । मैनिकस्य करे दीनो मीन: पतति निश्चितम् ॥२९॥ निपतन् मत्तमातङ्ग-कपोले गन्धलोलुपः। कर्णतालतलाधाताद् मृत्युमाप्नोति षट्पदः ।।३०॥ Fourth Chapter 103 Jain Education International For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
