Stanza 18 - अपगतभयः - who has his fear dispelled. अपगतं अपक्रान्तं भयं भीतिः यस्य यस्माद्वा सः । आत्मनीनं व्यवस्य - having decided what is beneficial to yourself. Hore, the termination ख (ईन ) is affixed to the word आत्मन् in the sense - beneficial [ to oneself ] ' under the rule 'भोगवात्मन्भ्यां खः । तीर्थ स्थित ध्वाक्षं अपनुदन् - scaring away the crow settling upon a holy bathing place (i. e. díspelling doubt from your holy and pure mind.). तीर्थ पुण्यक्षेत्रं इव तीर्थम् । The word तीर्थ implies mind which is naturally as pure and holy as a holy place. ध्वाक्षं - acrow. ध्वांक्षः इव ध्वाङ्क्षः । तम् । A crow is a doubt incarnate. The word sale, therefore, implies doubt. The termination denoting similarity is dropped under the rule 'देवपथादिभ्यः ' । स्थिरात्मा स्याः - have your mind firmly fixed. स्थिरः आत्मा मनः यस्य सः स्थिरात्मा । 'आत्मा ब्रह्ममनोदेहस्वभावधृतिबुद्धिषु' इति विश्वलोचने. तन्वी - (i) slenderly built; (ii) delicate. UIAT - a young girl who bas not delivered a child. 'अप्रसूताङ्गनायां च श्यामा सोमलतौषधे' इति विश्वलोचने । शिखरिदशना - having pointed teeth. शिखराणि कोटयः एषां सन्तीति शिखरिणः । शिखरिणः कोटिमन्त : दशनाः दन्ताः यस्याः सा शिखरिदशना। 'शिखरं शैलवृक्षाग्रे कक्षापुलककोटिषु । पक्कदाडिमबीजाभमाणिक्यशकलेऽपि च' इति विश्वलोचने । Possession of pointed teeth indicates fortunateness of a woman and the long life of her husband. 'पकदाडिमबीजाभं माणिक्यं शिखरं विदुः' इति हलायुधः । 'स्निग्धाः समानरूपाः सुपङ्क्तयः शिखरिणः श्लिष्टाः । दन्ता भवन्ति यासा, तासां पादे जगत्सर्वम् | ताम्बूलरसरक्तेऽपि स्फुटभासः समोदयाः । दन्ताः शिखरिणो यस्याः दीर्घ जीवति तत्प्रियः ॥' इति सामुद्रिकशास्त्रे । पक्वबिम्बाधरौष्ठीpossessing lower lips red like ripe Bimba fruit. पकं परिणतं च तत् बिम्बं बिम्बिकाफलं च पंचबिम्बम् । पकं बिम्बं रक्तवर्ण बिम्बिकाफलमिव अधरः अधस्तनः
ओष्ठः यस्याः सा. पक्कबिम्बाधरौष्ठी । The reading पक्कबिम्बाधरोष्ठी is also grammatically correct under the rule 'ओत्वोष्ठयोः से वा पररूपम्'। The feminine termination ङी (ई) is affixed to the word ओष्ठ, the last member of the compound, under the rule 'नासिकोदरौष्ठजवादन्तकर्णशृङ्गाङ्गगात्रकण्ठात्' । 'ओष्ठौ निर्बणौ स्निग्धौ नातिस्थूलौ न रोमशौ। रक्तो
