________________ (४९०) वातोद्धृतैः - disturbed by the wind. वातेन वायुना उद्धृताः ऊर्ध्वं प्रापिताः वातो द्धृताः। तैः । समीरणसमीरितेरित्यर्थः । अनिभृततरैः-moving very violently. कुवलयरजोगन्धिभिः - fragrant on account of the pollens of blue-lotuses. कुवलयानां कमलानां रजांसि परागाः कुवलयरजांसि | कुवलयरजसामिव गन्धोऽस्य कुवलयरजोगन्धि । तैः | The termination s is affixed to the word गन्ध, which is preceded by the word $95477:, the standard of comparision, under the rule 'वोपमानात् '. I This word may be explained also as कुवलयरजसः गन्धाः अस्पः अस्मिन्. Here, the termination s in affixed to the word गन्ध under the rule' arca'. According to this explanation, the word means "slightly possessing fragrance of the pollens of blue lotases.' Stanza 4__UTHIETIETTEPogaleciai - in lakes etc. possessing fragrant, cool and pure water. सुरभि सुगन्धि च तत् शिशिरं शीतलं च सुरभिशिशिरम् । सुरभिशिशिरं च तत् स्वच्छं निर्मलं च सुरभिशिशिरस्वच्छं । सुरभिशिशिरस्वच्छं तोयं यस्य सः । सुरभिशिशिरस्वच्छतोयश्वासौ ह्रदश्च सुरभिशिशिरस्वच्छतोयह्रदः। स आदिः यस्य सः। तस्मिन् । नानास्वादौ = very sweet. This word forms. an adjective qualifying the noun पयसि.आ अत्यर्थ स्वादु आस्वादु । न आस्वादु अनास्वादु। न अनास्वादु नानास्वादु। अत्यन्तं स्वाद्ववेत्यर्थः । The नअर्थक न is changed 3771 as it is followed by a word, having a vowel at its beginning, under the rule 'नञोऽन् '. This is how the word अनास्वादु is formed. In the word नानास्वादु, the नञर्थक न is not changed to अन्, though it is followed by a word, having a vowel' at its beginning, for this is a compound implying nagation and compounded again with a word implying nagation. The नञर्थक न, when compounded with a compoud implying nagation, is not changed to अन्, though the word न, implying nagation, is followed by a word, having a vowel at its beginning. Acharya Abhayanandi, the author of the work जैनेन्द्रमहावृत्ति, has in his commentary obsereved 'पुनर्नेसे नञः प्रकृतिभावः'। This compound may be dissolved also as ना स्वादु नास्वादु । मा नास्वादु नानास्वादु । स्वाद्वेवेत्यर्थः ।. The word नानास्वादो, a Locative form, reminds us that the form is of a masculine noun.
