Just as a blind man unable to see anything despite the presence of light, so also an ignorant person cannot have a vision of the truth in spite of the presence of the scrip tures. Sū. Kṛ. Sū. 1.12.8 4. Truth is God. 211 Praśna. Sū. ( Samvaradvāra) 2 5. A wise person who treads the path of truth transcends death. 6. In this world falsehood is comdemned by all the saints. A person who utters a lie is trusted by none. Hence one should give up falsehood. Acā. Sū. 1.3.66 Jain Education International 7. A person who practises truthfulness remains unmoved in the face of severe trials and tribulations. Daśa. Sū. 6.13 Acā. Sū. 1.3.3 8.
