18. Those thoughts which purify the mind result in Nirjarā (annihilation of karmas ).

19. Karmic bondage will be less, medium or intense according to the degree of attachment of a person.

Any spiritual practice by which the attachment is reduced and the accumulated karmas are annihilated, is the path of emancipation as only that method of treatment is useful which cures the patient.
