caused by karman; it always means stoppage (samvara) of the flow of karma as well as consumption (kşaya) or nirjarā of already accumulated karman. Karman in Jainism are of two kinds---dravya karma and bhāva karma. The dravya-karma is composed of the particles of matter, while the bhāvakarma (spiritual impure modifications) is absorbed in the soul substance.
