It will be altogether appropriate to say that the uncontrolled advancement of science has un-balanced a man's mind and this imbalance is daily increasing the inharmonies. Where science should really be a means of construction but by its misuse it is being converted into an instrument of destruction and annihilation. Vigyan (Science) literally means special distinct knowledge. How can knowledge itself prove to be destructive? The cause to convert it into destructiveness is its noncontrol or its patronization amidst evil propensities.A razor can be used for shaving, but if it happens to be possessed by a monkey,who may cut throat of anyone with it, even his own.
Whatsoever development has been achieved by science in this society of disharmonies, that is continuing to fall into the hands of spiritually ignorant people. After all science is a power and its new and discoveries or researches reveal the new and novel sources of that force. If these very sources come under the control of well intention ed and renunciative persons, then they can harness it towards peace and achieve mass welfare. But, today this power has fallen into the hands of selfish and materialist votaries, as a result of which these elements are becoming more and more potentialistic and are utilised in augmenting their sway and might. Imbalance of the Sources of Power :
