(5) Define Producer. (Apadan
Karaka). That eternal substance out of which that particular function (deed or modification) is done or obtained is called the *Base' of that deed (Adhikarana Karaka).
These six cases (Karkas) are found together in each state (modification of all substances and accordingly both soul and matter, irrespective of their being in pure state or in impure state, function by themselves in their own six cases and never depend on any other cases causes ). Commentary). Q. 127. How is the work done ?
As per the principles कारणानुविधायित्वादेव FITTfori “and "Fruitafqanunta olyffor",.... ...the work or any function, due to its being exactly as per the cause, is always exactly identical to its (substantive) cause. The work is also known as action, deed, state, modification, condition, manifestation, function, change or change-over.
Here 'cause means the substantial cause "upadan Karan", because the substantial cause is the only real cause).
