Just as the director of a drama is not affected by the parts the actors play, similarly the true believer sees the drama of life, but is not affected thereby. विकुव्वदिवि वेददि गाणी कम्माइ बहु पयाराइ | जादि पुण कम्मफलं बंधं पुराणं च पावं च ॥ ३४० ॥ नापि करोति नापि वेदयते ज्ञानी कर्माणि बहुप्रकाराणि । जानाति पुनः कर्मफलं बंधं पुण्यं च पापं च ॥ ३४० ॥ 340. The knower neither performs nor feels the Kar - mas of many kinds, but knows the fruition of Karinas, their bondage, merits and demerits. दिट्टी सपिणं अकारयं तह अवेदयं चेव । जाणदिय बंधमोक्खं कम्मुदयं जिरं चैव ॥ ३४१ ॥ दृष्टिः स्वयमपि ज्ञानमकारकं तथाऽवेदकं चैव । जानाति च बंधमोक्षं कर्मोदयं निर्जरां चैव ॥ ३४१ ॥ 341. The eye itself is neither the cause nor the perceiver. Knowledge also knows Bondage, Liberation, Opera - tion, and the shedding of Karmas. Jain Education International CHAPTER Samayasara.
