(i) A number of similar verses in Apabhramsa have been compiled by Hemacandra in his Prakrit Grammar. (ii) The Vajjālaggam is another such anthology, but planned topically. Rajasekhara tells in his Karpūramanjarī that the Sattaka is to be danced. According to I.Shekhar, the Sanskrit drama has come to the Aryans from the Dravidians and Pre-Aryans.
