After completing this paper, recently I learnt, with pleasure, that the Bharatiya Jñanapiha is publishing shortly Kesavavarni's Kannada Commentary on the Gommatasara as cdited by the late Dr.A.N.Upadhye, from whom I could have no chance to get this happy information then.
