THE PALM-TREE: Like the human figure, especially of the woman, the palm-tree is decoratively used by the artist whose inborn decorative instinct had a free display in the Nagaur murals.
THE FLOWER-VASE:
The niches in the walls are beautifully filled-in by such decorative flower vases. Here the symmetrical rendering of the peacocks, the vase and the pomegranate is well organised with a decorative arch completing the rectangular space. The things in the vase-receptacle are either mangoes or conch-shells. THE PEACOCK: The peacock motif with plants is frequently used to fill-up the intervening spaces between the figural compositions and the architectural pilasters and arches. THE ZANANA MAHAL: This beautiful architectural building, an example of Rajasthani architecture comprising of decorative balconies, perforated windows and terraces, houses the charming and alluring, but fast vanishing, frescoes of the Nagaur Fort.
