There have been beautiful, bright-coloured wall-- paintings in the interior parts of mansions (Fifa ) on the eastern side, the windows (1794e) of which were screened off in the morning to avoid discolouring by the sun's rays falling on them. In the afternoon, the sunlight has gone west (908f731731471UT); therefore, the screens and curtains of windows have · been removed, leaving the windows clear and empty (qurE37), to allow the passage (ATT) of light to fall fully on the paintings, which shine quite brightly () when cleared of obstruction, (पइरिक्क). At evening time, the rays of the sun about to set on the western horizon, come and penetrate the forests in a slanting or oblique way ( 491737), illuminating and bringing vividly (fa315) into view (furoasa), their lower areas at the base (55) and those in the interior (ATS) mid-region. As a result, the thick, darkening shadows of the daytime, are dispelled (forma) and loosened (for), making the forests look thin and rarefied, as it were (facetsifera).
1085. As the sun gradually drops down ( faasu), his parts or pieces of bright light (TFH259311) get divided and distributed on top of the setting mountain (MTCETTT) at that moment in various directions and later are hurled upwards far into the sky. These pieces of light, so flung, take the shape of round buds (मउलिता) and become so many stars (तारअत्तणं एंति) at night. 1086. The sun's orb on the western horizon and the moon's orb on the eastern horizon, reddish as they appear bear the resemblance (#3fur) of an elephant's temple (1), bloodred (Efezsia) and dropped down (EET) on the ground. The elephant here in this case is the Day (feuia) and this Dayelephant is killed by the Evening-lion (931teita), brownishskinned like the evening twilight.
