________________ Some special points about the birth and existence of the jivas 61 (2) The Nil Leshya (Blue) The second one said: “Where is the need for uprooting the tree? We shall pull down all its big branches and eat the fruits". Kabatar (Ash colour) The third one said : “We shall pull down only those branches on which there are fruits and eat the fruits”. (4) Tejo Leshya (Red) The fourth one said : “Let us pluck only the bunches of fruits and eat them". (5) Padma Leshya (Yellow) The fifth one said : "Let us pluck only the fruits and eat them”. (6) Shukla Leshya (Pure white) The sixth one said : “Let us eat only those fruits that have fallen on the ground”. From this conversation, we can understand the nature of the leshyas. The first three, namely, Black, Blue and Brown are inauspicious; and the latter three; the Padma, Tejo and Shukla are auspicious. Questions : (1) What are pranas and paryapthis ?
