physical tiredness, daily lie-down in still posture (Shavasan) for 5 to 10 minutes. This is very useful.
Physical Work: (1) The machine that does not keep running becomes rusty, similarly the body that does not get proper exercise or work becomes heavy, lazy and a museum of the diseases. For people over 45, light body postures, 2 to 3 kilometer walking or gardening and similar kind of light regular exercises are very useful and cheerful. Such activities are energizing and obliging. Young men and women can feel energy and cheerfulness by doing heavy exercises they like, such as, stretch-ups, swimming, weight lifting, tennis, boxing, running and various body postures.
(2) Keep at least one-hour gap between exercises and eating.
(3) Stop exercising immediately if you feel out of breath or pain in chest.
Work for livelihood: Generally 8 to 10 hours of work is considered proper for livelihood. As an exception, certain agricultural work during season, new job or business and city life-start-up, one may have to work for about three more hours or so.
