PUBLISHER'S NOTE
It has been our policy to regularly publish noble and life-elevative literature for the benefit of the society in general and of scholars and spiritual aspirants in particular. However, majority of our 40 publications so far have been produced in Gujarati, Hindi, Sanskrit and Prakrit, the list of which is printed elsewhere in the book.
With changing times and with more overseas people taking interest in our activities, we have started English publications and this book comes to the readers as English version of Sadhak-Sathi, which was published by us in Gujarati in 1977.
In India and abroad, many friends and well-wishers have been instrumental in production of the present work.
Shri Pravinbhai K. Shah of North Carolena first proposed the English version six years ago and extended his goodwill. The present formet of the book comes to the readers after several readings by scholars and professors to all of whom we are highly indebted for their affection & interest; but specially to Dr. Paul Marett of Liecester in U.K. who went through the entire script. He made several suggestions which could make the book more essily acceptable to a western reader.
We hope that the three glossaries given at the end of the book will make the reading more understandable and useful to the reader. Suggestions regarding the contents and the formet will be welcome.
