Vavabāra (Vyavahāra). An Angabāḥira Kalia text. It is divided into ten chapters. It deals with all types of rules of monastic conduct and various expiations. It also tells us about the prerequisites of an acārya an upādhyāya and the like. Separate rules regarding the conduct of nups have also been laid down in it, In the end of the tenth chapter a curri. culum for monks has been prescribed. According to this curriculum the course of study for a novice lasts for twenty years. This text has been extracted from the Paccakhāņappavāya, a Puvva text.
