Kägamdi (Kākandi) An ancient town in the Bharaha(2) region, Titthamkara Suvihi(1) was born here. It was visited by Mahāvira.3 Jiyasattu(11)4 and Amayaghosa 5 reigned there. Dhitidhara(2), Khemaa(2), Camda vega? and Dhanna(5) % belonged to it. The sixth Vāsudeva(1) in his previous birth performed penances here. It is identified with Kakan in Monghyr district.10 1.
