Isivāla
abode of Sohammakappa. On the expiry of his celestial life he will take birth in Mabāvideha and attain liberation there. 1

1. Isibhāsiya (Rsibhāsita) An Angabāhira Kāliya text. It contained fortyfour chapters expounded by 2 or dealing with 3 forty-four sages born here after the expiry of their life as celestial beings. Bhaddabāhu (2) is said to have composed a niryukti commentary on it. At present the Isibhāsiya 5 contains forty-five chapters. The sages who expounded them belonged to different non-Jain sects, still they are recognized as Patteyabuddhas. The sermons recorded in it are on spiritualism in general. 1. Pak. p. 44, NisCu.
