________________ CHAPTER I I. 22-25 ] ( 27 (24) Moreover, just as those jewels unite with each other and occupy the place that is assigned to them individually in the string, they, all together, attain the designation of a necklace of jewels, disowning their individual names. (25) Similarly if all the Nayas arrange themselves in a proper way and supplement to each other, then alone they are worthy of being termed as “the whole truth 'SamyagDarśana or the right view in its entirety. But in this case they merge their individuality in the collective whole. However bright or precious the jewels may be in their individual capacity, as long as they are not joined with each other, they cannot be termed as a necklace of jewels. But if those very jewels are properly perforated and strong together- they give up their individual names and assume the new title of necklace of jewels. It is then that they are considered highly precious. Similarly, however correct the view of a particular Naya may be, if it disregards the view of other Naya it cannot be considered as 'the whole truth.
