'savvesim āyāro padhamo't ityādi tat katham ? ucyate/tatra sthāpanām āśritya tathoktam / iha tu akşararacanām pratitya bhaạitam.pūrvam pūrvāṇi kệtāni' iti /”
-Samavāyānga-ţikā, pp. 130-31 What Āc. Abhayadeva has said in Sanskrit had already been said, even prior to Abhayadeva, by Jinadāsa in his Nandi-cūrņi. And Ac. Haribhadra has bodily taken this Nandi-cūrņi passage in his commentary (p. 88) on Nandi. Nandī-cūrni passage runs as follows:
“se kim tam puvvagatam ? ti, ucyate--jamhā titthakaro titthapavattanakale ganadharāņa savvasutādhārattanato puvvam puvvagatasutattham bhāsati tamhä puvvatti bhanitā/ ganadhara puna suttarayanaṁ karentā āyārāi-kamena rayamti thavemti ya/ annāyariyamateņaṁ puna puvvaga tasuttattho puvram arhatā bhāsito, ganaharehi vi puvvagatasutam ceva puvvam raitam pacchà āyārāi/evam ukte codaka aha-ņaņu puvvā varaviruddham/ kamha? jamhā āyāranijjuttīe bhanitam “savvesim āyāro" gāhā (Ācārānganiryukti, gathā 8] / ācārya aha---satyamuktam/ kintu să ţhavana/imam puna akkhararayanam paducca bhaạitampuvvam puvvā katā ity arthah/
-Nandisutta-cunni (PTS) p. 75 Moreover, the view accepted in Jinabhadra's Višeşāvaśyakabhâsya along with the auto-commentary, being noteworthy, is given below:
aha-śrūyate hi pūrvaṁ pūrvány evopanibadhyante pūrvapraņayanād eva ca pūrvāṇi iti/ tatra ca samastam asti vāňmayam ataḥ kim iha śeşāngair angabahyaiś ceti? ucyate
7 jati vi ya bhūtāvàde savvassa vayogatassa otāro 1 nijjūhaņā tadhā vi hu dummedhe pappa itthi ya || 548 ||
jati' gāhal yady api drstivāde samastavāümayāvatāraḥ, tathāpi durmedhasām ayogyānāṁ strīņāṁ cānugrahārtham anyaśrutavićeşopadeśaḥ, śrāvakāņāṁ ca |||
