Acknowledgements
I consider myself to be one of the most fortunate persons as I have got an opportunity to associate myself with the Agama Publication work of the Mahavira Jaina Vidyalaya due to the grace of my guru Agamaprabhākara Muni Śrī Punyavijayaji. I offer my salutations to him, remembering his unbounded grace.
After the death of Muni Śri Punyavijayaji, Munirāja Śrī Jambuvijayaji is continuing the Agama Publication work and gradually publishing Agama works. My every meeting with him has enriched my knowledge of the Agamas. I have learnt much from him. I respectfully record my gratefulness to this great Muni and pray that he may accomplish this Herculian task with the grace of guardian deities (śāsana-devatās).
Pt. Shri Dalsukhbhai Malvania, a scholar of Indian philosophy and Jaina Agamas, (Former-director and present Adviser of the L. D. Institute of Indology), has extended his full cooperation whenever I approached him. Dr. Nagin J. Shah, Director of the L. D. Institute of Indology, has translated my Gujarati Introduction (= Prastāvanā) into English. Shri Ratilal Dipchand Desai who takes active interest, even at the age of 72, in the activities pertaining to Jaina Literature and Community has carefully gone through this Introduction and suggested some corrections. I am grateful to these three scholars for their cooperation.
My sincere thanks are due to Hon. Secretaries Shri Jayantilal Ratanchand, Shri Ratilal Chimanlal Kothari and Shri Jagjivan Popatlal Shah for their sincere efforts in accelerating the publication work. Their devotion to Scriptures is exemplary.

I express my heartfelt thanks to Shri Kantilal Dahyabhai Kora, Director of Shri Mahavira Jaina Vidyalaya, for taking keen personal interest in the publication work. He has been very careful to see that the printing work moves on smoothly and without delay.
