you can turn to in time of need, but sometimes all you need is that one person!
We had similar but separate lives. We did a lot of things together and had most of the same friends, but she had her life and I had mine. She was studying for her MCATS and liked to spend time at home, and I had some other friends I'd hang out with. We didn't always have to be together, and we were both respectful of each other's privacy. This is a mature friendship, but you may not always find this.
