AcArya zrIhemacandra ne bhI apanI pramANamImAMsA meM isI bAta kA samarthana kiyA hai : sarvamasti svarUpeNa, para-rUpeNa nAsti ca / anyathA sarvasattvaM syAt svarUpasyApyasaMbhavaH / pratyeka vastu sva-svarUpa se vidyamAna hai aura para-svarUpa se avidyamAna hai. yadi vastu ko pararUpa se bhI bhAvarUpa svIkAra kiyA jAya to eka vastu ke sadbhAva meM saMpUrNa vastuoM kA sadbhAva mAnanA cAhie, aura yadi vastu ko svarUpa se bhI abhAvarUpa mAnA jAya to vastu ko sarvathA svabhAva-rahita mAnanA cAhie, jo ki vastusthiti se viparIta hai. arthAt yadi vastu ko abhAvAtmaka yAnI sarvathA zUnya hI mAnA jAya to vAkya kA bhI abhAva hone se--abhAvAtmaka tattvakI svayaM pratIti kaise hogI? tathA dUsare ko kaise samajhAyA jAyagA? svapratipatti kA sAdhana hai bodha, tathA para-pratipatti kA upAya hai vAvaya. ina donoM ke abhAva meM svapakSa kA sAdhana aura para-pakSa kA dUSaNa kaise ho sakegA ? isa taraha vicAra karane se loka kA pratyeka padArtha bhAvAbhAvAtmaka pratIta hotA hai. jo vAdI vastu ko para-rUpa se asat nahIM mAnate haiM, unheM ghaTa ko sarvAtmaka mAnanA cAhie, kyoMki ghaTa jisa taraha svarUpa se sat hai, yadi usI taraha pararUpa se bhI sat ho to ghaTa kisI bhI rUpa se asat na hone ke kAraNa usa (ghaTa) ko sarvAtmaka mAnanA cAhie, kintu vastusthiti vaisI nahIM hai. ataH pararUpa se asat mAnane se hI padArtha ke nizcita svarUpa kA jJAna ho sakatA hai. sva-sattva ko hI para-asattva nahIM kahA jA sakatA, kyoMki vidhi aura pratiSedha do virodhI dharma haiM; yadi kahA jAya ki jainasiddhAntAnusAra bhI eka hI jagaha vidhi aura pratiSedha mAnA jAtA hai to yaha kathana bhI ucita nahIM hai| kyoMki jaina vastu ke jisa aMza ko sat mAnate haiM usI aMza ko asat nahIM mAnate haiM, tathA usake jisa aMza ko asat mAnate haiM, usI aMza ko sat nahIM mAnate haiM. jaina siddhAntAnusAra vastu na sat hai, na asat ; para sadasadAtmaka 1. tRtIya pariccheda, sUtra 57. 2. pR0 12. 9 LY Jain education tema FOR Private & Personal use Page #2 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ________________ sAdhvI nirmalAzrI : jainamatAnusAra abhAva prameyamImAMsA : 465 jAtyantara hai. vaha svadravya, kSetra kAla aura bhAva rUpa se sat hai aura para dravya, kSetra, kAla aura bhAva rUpa se asat hai. ataH virodha ke liye koI sthAna nahIM hai. vastusvarUpa kA jJAna prApta karane ke liye bhAva padArtha se atyanta bhinna anyonyAbhAva nAmaka svataMtra padArtha mAnane se hI kAma cala sakatA hai, ataH vastu ko bhAvAbhAvAtmaka mAnane kI AvazyakatA nahIM hai - yaha zaMkA bhI ucita nahIM, kyoMki yadi vastu ko para rUpa se abhAvAtmaka nahIM mAnA jAya, to paTa Adi ke abhAva ko ghaTa nahIM kaha sakane ke - kAraNa ghaTa ko paTarUpa mAnanA par3egA. jaise ghaTAbhAva se bhinna hone ke kAraNa ghaTa ko ghaTa kaha sakate haiM, vaise hI paTa ko bhI ghaTAbhAva se bhinna hone ke kAraNa ghaTa mAnanA cAhie. 9 tAtparya yaha hai ki nyAya-vaizeSika ke anusAra anyonyAbhAva ko do padArthoM kI svataMtra sthiti meM kAraNa mAnA jAtA hai, aura yaha bheda svayaM eka svataMtra padArtha hai. usake anusAra jahAM ghaTa kA abhAva nahIM rahatA vahAM ghaTa kA nizcaya hotA hai. para yaha mAnyatA ThIka nahIM hai. nyAya-vaizeSika ke anusAra paTa Adi ghaTa ke abhAvarUpa nahIM haiM, isalie paTa Adi ke ghaTa ke abhAva se bhinna hone para paTAdi meM bhI ghaTa kA jJAna honA cAhie. jaina siddhAntAnusAra ghaTa ko ghaTa ke atirikta sabhI padArthoM kA abhAvarUpa svIkAra gayA hai. ataH ghaTapaTAdi ke bhI abhAva svarUpa hone se ghaTa meM paTa kA jJAna nahIM ho sakatA, isalie sva-pararUpa se sadasadAtmaka saba padArthoM ko svIkAra karanA cAhie, anyathA pratiniyata rUpa vyavasthA kI anupapatti hogI. nyAyamudacandra meM AcArya prabhAcandra ne kahA hai rAmakA sarve bhAvAH pratipa pratiniyata rUpavyavasthAnyayAnupapatteH' yadi kahA jAya ki pratiniyatarUpa vyavasthA kI anupapatti nahIM hogI, kyoMki pUrvakathita itaretarAbhAva se usakI vyavasthA ho jAyagI to yahAM prazna uThatA hai ki yaha itaretarAbhAva svatantra hai ki bhAva kA dharma hai ? itaretarAbhAva svataMtra nahIM ho sakatA, kyoMki apane svAtaMtrya ke liye vaha dUsare itaretarAbhAva kI apekSA rakhegA aura dUsarA tIsare kI, tIsarA cauthe kI ityAdi, aura isa prakAra anavasthA hone ke kAraNa itaretarAbhAva kA svataMtra astitva hI siddha nahIM ho sakegA. taba kyA vaha bhAva kA dharma hai ? itaretarAbhAvako bhAvapadArtha kA dharma svIkAra karane para prazna hogA - kisa bhAva kA dharma hai ? ghaTa kA, bhUtala kA yA ubhaya kA ?- -yadi itaretarAbhAva ko ghaTa rUpa bhAvapadArtha kA dharma mAnA jAya to bhI prazna uThatA hai ki vaha ghaTasvarUpa kA niSedhaka hai yA nahIM ? yadi use niSedhaka mAnA jAya to phira prazna hogA ki ghaTa meM hI ghaTasvarUpa kA vaha niSedhaka hai yA bhUtala meM ghaTasvarUpa kA ? itaretarAbhAva ko ghaTa meM ghaTasvarUpa kA niSedhaka mAnanA ucita nahIM hai, kyoMki aisA mAnane para ghaTa kI sattA hI asiddha ho jAyagI aura usa paristhiti meM vaha itaretarAbhAva kisa bhAva padArtha kA dharma hogA ? kA mAnA gayA hai. navya naiyAyika gaMgeza prabhRti AcAryoM ne abhAva ke cAra prakAra hI mAne haiM. prAcIna naiyAyika udayanAcArya ne bhI svaracita lakSaNAvalI meM abhAva ke cAturvidhya kA hI pratipAdana kiyA hai. vAcaspati mizra ne bhI isI bAta kA samarthana kiyA hai. kintu jayanta bhaTTa ke matAnusAra abhAva dvividha hai--prAgabhAva aura dhvaMsa. ve atyantAbhAva aura anyonyAbhAva ko svatantra abhAva nahIM mAnate kintu prAgabhAva ko hI ukta donoM abhAvoM ke sthAna meM mAnate haiM. jaina-siddhAntAnusAra bhI abhAva cAra prakAra kA hai, jaise-prAgabhAva, pradhvaMsAbhAva, atyantAbhAva aura anyonyAbhAva. padArtha kA pUrva meM anastitva hI prAgabhAva hai, arthAt jisakA vinAza hone para kArya kI utpatti ho vaha padArtha usa kAryakA prAgabhAva hai, jaise ghaTa mRtpiNDavinAza ke dvArA utpanna hotA hai ataH mRtpiNDa ghaTa kA prAgabhAva hai. jaisAki vAdi-devasUri ne apane pramANanayatattvAlokAlaMkAra' meM kahA hai-'yannivRttAveva kAryasya samutpattiH so'sya prAgabhAvaH' koI bhI kArya apanI utpatti ke pahale asat hotA hai, vaha kAraNoM se utpanna hotA hai. kArya kA apanI utpatti ke pahale na honA hI prAgabhAva kahalAtA hai. yaha abhAva bhAvAntara rUpa hotA hai. yaha to dhruva satya hai ki kisI bhI dravya kI utpatti nahIM hotI. dravya to anAdi-ananta hai. utpatti hotI hai paryAya kI. dravya apane dravyarUpa se kAraNa hotA hai, aura paryAyarUpa se kArya, jo prAyaH utpanna hone jA rahA hai vaha utpatti ke pUrva paryAya rUpa meM nahIM thA. ataH usakA jo abhAva vahI prAgabhAva hai. yaha prAgabhAva pUrvaparyAyarUpa hotA hai, arthAt ghaTa-paryAya jaba taka utpanna nahIM huA taba taka vaha asat hai aura jisa miTTI dravya se vaha utpanna hone vAlA hai usa dravya kA ghaTa se pahale kA paryAya ghaTa kA prAgabhAva kahA jAtA hai. arthAt vahI paryAya naSTa hokara ghaTaparyAya banatA hai. ataH vaha paryAya ghaTa-prAgabhAva hai. isI taraha atyanta sUkSma kAla kI dRSTi se pUrvaparyAya hI uttaraparyAya kA prAgabhAva hai aura santati kI dRSTi se yaha prAgabhAva anAdi bhI kahA jAtA hai. pUrvaparyAya kA prAgabhAva tatpUrvaparyAya hai, tathA tatpUrvaparyAya kA prAgabhAva usase bhI pUrva kA paryAya hogA, isa taraha santati kI dRSTi se yaha anAdi hotA hai. yadi kArya-paryAya kA prAgabhAva nahIM mAnA jAtA hai, to kAryaparyAya anAdi ho jAyagA aura dravya meM trikAlavartI sabhI paryAyoM kA eka kAla meM prakaTa sadbhAva mAnanA hogA, jo ki sarvathA pratIti-viruddha hai. jisakI utpatti se kArya kA avazya vinAza ho, vaha usa kAryakA pradhvaMsAbhAva hai. jaise kapAla-samudAya kI utpatti hone se niyamataH ghaTakA vinAza hotA hai, ataH kapAlasamudAya hI ghaTa kA pradhvaMsAbhAva para pradhvaMsa kA nAza karake prAgabhAva punarujjIvita nahIM ho sakatA. jo naSTa huA vaha naSTa huA. nAza ananta hai. jo paryAya gayA vaha ananta kAla ke liye gayA, vaha phira vApisa nahIM A sakatA. 'yadatItamatItameva tat'-yaha dhruva niyama hai. ataH yadi pradhvaMsAbhAva nahIM mAnA jAtA hai to koI bhI paryAya naSTa nahIM hogA aura sabhI paryAya ananta ho jAyeMge. pradhvaMsAbhAva pratiniyata padArthavyavasthA ke liye nitAnta Avazyaka hai. anya svabhAva se apane svabhAva kI vyAvRtti ko itaretarAbhAva yA anyApoha kahate haiM. jaise stambha-svabhAva se kumbha-svabhAva kI vyAvRtti hotI hai.
